Welcome to Abilene's newest event and meeting center, one eighty-one, located of the corner of Pine Street and North 2nd Street in the heart of downtown Abilene! Our desire is to introduce you to the most versatile and accommodating venue in Abilene, along with the charm and uniqueness of a nearly one hundred year old building. Originally, the home of Vletas & Vletas (Candies by Vletas) in the 1920's, to the home of Jordan Taylor & Company in the mid-1990's and today one eighty-one. The venue has been the site for meetings, dances, weddings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners and parties.
The building's elegance is what brings people to one eighty-one. However, it is the unprecedented care, attention to detail and professionalism of the staff that brings them back.
